  1. leave an hour and a half each day to do homework

The half an hour is for studying your notes, that way you have time for hanging out, but still understand your notes, so before a test it wont be hard to memorize at all, cuz once you understand it you will remember it for a long time. Especially for social study, its kinda boring but think of it as you reading a story.

    DO your homework daily

Concentrate in class( the good thing about that is less drama)

Take notes, Try your bes and if you dont get it you can ask the teacher for study section.

ALso you can put keywords or vocab on flashcards, and go through it everyday

  2. Sit in the front of the class, so you can hear and focus on what the teacher is saying, and not have people turning around and talking to you every five seconds.

Take notes, but not TOO many notes. If you write everything the teacher says down, it'll just be more confusing. Just keep the key facts. If they write it on the board or say it more than once, chances are it'll be on a test.

Complete all assignments. It's stupid to lose points for not completing assignments. I've seen people go from A's to C's just by not doing their homework.

Participate in class. While not all teachers do this, some take away points if you don't participate, and/or give points for participating. Plus if you're involved in what's going on, it'll be easier to understand what's going on.

If you're doing a problem that's too hard, skip it and go back. Either work on another subject or just work on a different problem. Sometimes when you first look at a problem, it's confusing, but when you go back to it, you understand it. Don't get frustrated all together on an assignment, and end up quitting.

  3. try to jot notes down that you think are important. study them often at home. or at school, if u get the chance, quick look at your notes when you have a test.
