heres the thing iv read on the internet not to sleep in them. I just got back from the eye doctor today and he told me since i hadn't had glasses in a long while that he would give me contacts until my new glasses came in. He put em in it was fine... i had to have a woman watch me take them out which took a while but was also fine. problem i having now is i cant get them out. at all. the main thing is tho is that he told me the ones im getting are good for a month. i could sleep in them withoutever taking them out until about 7 days. he is an eye doctor so my question is is this ok? are these a special type of contacts? i need to get to sleep soon so i would like to know if its worth staying up to take them out or will it be fine in the morning. i was told to put a drop of optive moisturizer which he gave to me in before i go to bed, and when i wake up..as long as i do that i'll be fine. i really appreciate everyones help :D i can't stay up much longer and these things won't budge. ty

  1. Are you really not sleeping? LOL! Poor thing!

I think there are some contacts that are okay to sleep in but from my experience with contacts, when a doc says they are good for one month, I don't think that involves sleeping in them.

I take my contacts out by placing my finger on the cente of the lens, slide it down to my bottom eyelid and pinch it out. I would hope they gave you ideas how to take them out!

Contact your doc for real concerns friend!

    Good luck!

  2. Well, I put my index finger on the color of the eye and slide the contact to the side until it falls out or until I can pinch it out. GOOD LUCK!!
