The best way is simply with warm, almost hot compresses directly to the lid for about 10 minutes 3 times a day.

If you are female, stop wearing eye makeup, and throw out your old mascara etc as it is likely contaminated.

You can use some diluted baby shampoo on  a face cloth to gently clean the lid/lash margins

They rarely require antibiotic drops or surgery.

whatever you do dont pop the sty!!!! Warm compresses work well maybe even a cucumber slice
