Best way to trim yard bushes?

I trimmed my bushes in the flower bed last night, but it was such a pain, picking up the trash. What is a good method to help pickup the trashed limbs?

  1. Firstly, take your bin or a roller bin of some sort to where you are trimming, walking back and forth to a bin is a pain when gardening, you can also get fold up garbage bag holders for garden refuse sized garbage bags.

You can also place a tarp or sheet under area being trimmed to catch it, once you have done the 2-3metres covering the sheet, empty sheet/tarp then place under next lot to be trimmed.

You can also buy these 'garden hands' things, they are huge paddle type things curved in a bit that fit on your hands to pick up garden stuff. Found a pic of them... http://cornucopiaseeds.com.au/zencart/im...  I have a yellow set, have had for 6 years and they are really helpful.
