I have it sighted in with the 300m battle sight but only shot it to 50 yards, and i didn't get a chance to shoot it farther than that. I have access to 200 yards and that's about all ill be shooting at. Ive heard about the new improved battle sight but i don't know anything about it or how to do it. Which is best for me? and how do i do it?

BTW: I have a Bushmaster m4a1 xm15-E26 5.56x45mm(.223rem) with a fixed carry handle and a1 rear sights and a2 front sights and a 16 inch barrel.

any and all help is appreciated and thanks in advance.

  1. Use the IBZ (Improved Battlesite Zero) Method.  Zero at 50 yards.  This will give you a point of impact within 2" of point of aim from 8 Meters to 220 Meters.  Yes, I deliberately used both yards and meters in my statement.

Use the small rear aperture for better accuracy.

This should be perfect with your 200 yard maximum range.
