Best ways to hide a Sony DCR-TRV 110 , without raising suspicion ?

it takes hi-8 tapes, i recently compared the quality of the video footage to my friends digital hard disk recording camcorder (low-mid range camcorder, it has similar zoom capabilities too) and was pleased to see that the quality was almost identical.

The only downside of my camera I suppose is the technology, its recording onto hi-8 tapes not directly onto a memory stick or a hard drive.

however because of the size, it means Its harder to conceal.

im trying to capture video/sound footage of a really unprofessional store manager and a disloyal jerk who talks foul behind a close female buddy's back, a female buddy he supposedly 'loves'.

any tips ?

this camera should have AV in/ AV out so you could use a pin hole camera and conceal it in a backpack and have the lens and speaker available.  the "spy cameras" can be bought online for around  $12
