I would like to request a copy of my Report and Score from all three credit bureau without having to go to each one. I was looking into the creditreporting website but they seem to want close to $40 dollars. Do you think this is a reasonable price? Any suggestions on which website I should go to?

  1. To access your free credit report, the FTC set up the website www.annualcreditreport.com. Just follow the instructions and you can order your credit report from all three bureaus.

If you want more than one copy in a year's time, you must pay for it. You can obtain a copy of your credit report (for a small fee) by calling or writing to the credit bureau(s), or obtaining them online. Some states regulate the fees which can be charged for credit reports; some allow more than one free report a year.

  2. https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/i... is the ONLY really free website from which to obtain your credit reports from all three credit reporting agencies.

The central site allows you to request a free credit file disclosure, commonly called a credit report, once every 12 months from each of the nationwide consumer credit reporting companies: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.

AnnualCreditReport.com is the official site to help consumers to obtain their free credit report.

Free credit reports requested online are viewable immediately upon authentication of identity. Free credit reports requested by phone or mail will be processed within 15 days of receiving your request.

All other so-called free credit report services will charge you or force you to subscribe to their credit report or credit protection or identity protection services.

https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/i... is the ONLY site that fulfills the U.S. Government's specifications for providing a free credit report from all three agencies once a year at absolutely no charge whatsoever and is the ONLY site approved by the U.S. Department of Consumer Affairs to provide this service in compliance with federal law.

Freecreditreport.com is one of the largest offenders in advertising free credit reports...read the small print or you will find yourself paying through the nose!  Please don't be duped into any other service other than www.annualcreditreport.com.
