Best zero range for 22 magnum

Question

im getting a 22 magnum and am unsure at what range to zero it at. My dad reckons 30 metres becacuse garvity hasn't effected it yetand there for show the zero. But all the hunting magazins say a touch above 100m i good any suggestions

Ok this may sound strange but I used ChairGun and plugged in all the numbers. I have a savage 93 F in 22 mag. and for a 1 inch kill zone that ranges from about 25 yards to about 90 site it in at about 80 yards.

PS Chairgun is for airgun pellet ballistics but it is a good place to start.
