BestBuy and the Iphone 3g?

I already know that Bestbuy is going to sell Iphones september 7th at Bestbuy in America, what I don't know is if they'll sell them in Canadian bestbuy stores. I live in Canada and really want the Iphone, but this will suck if bestbuy doesn't bring it into canada. Also I live about 10 minutes away from the washington border, so if they dont sell the iphone in canadian bestbuy stores, where can I find a Bestbuy near the washington border.

P.S. Also if i get the iphone in america will it work in Canada? First person to answer everything with proof will get 10 yummy points!
