Beta Fish Spawning Question.

I was just wondering if beta fish only had babies with other betas, or is it possible for them to have babies with other fish? If they can with other fish what types, angel fish, bottom feeders ect.

They can only mate with other beta fishes. Any other fish, they will eat. Betas are really agressive

Yea, i'm pretty sure Beta Fish can only mate with other Betas, only because when the female is ready, you add her to the male tank. If you were to add the female to a male tank that is not a beta the other fish will not know the process.

Also the Male needs to create a bubble nest. only Male Bettas can do this.
