Betinboots all for the track debut at Perry Barr in the Bags Track Championship Stayers
The assorted line-up for the Grade IR Bags Track Championship Stayers has collected those who have tried their luck at the open level, along with those who have not stepped beyond Grade A races. The 660 metres flat race will be held at Perry Barr on Tuesday, 6th November. The prize money set for the race is £200.
The contestants are a balanced mix of the hosting track, Monmore and Hall Green. The red trap has been drawn by the local, Mordred Saul, while racing out of the opposite end is, Romeo Warrior.
The most promising entry for tonight who has raced at Nottingham, Henlow, Peterborough and Monmore, is the three-year-old black and white b***h, Betinboots. She has been exceptionally impressive in the last two outings after the drilling session on 15th October at Monmore over 630 metres. The Paul Sallis trained has raced over 680 metres multiple times, but has been able to win just at one occasion.
Only one of the races over that distance turned out to be success on her profile.
Dinny Joe’s daughter won a Grade S2 630 metres flat race at Monmore on 20th October, 2012. Taking flight from the red trap, and making her aggressive stance clear from the beginning of the race, she completed the trip in 38.71 seconds.
She defeated the favourite entry, Boynepark Ice, by 2 ½ lengths.
The blue trap then bagged the winner’s prize money of a Grade S1 630 metres flat race on 1st November, 2012 at Monmore.
She broke into a high pace, and ran on well in order conclude the race in 38.22 seconds. Missing the winner’s spot by 3 ¼ lengths was the red trap, Yorkshire Lady.
The three-year-old out of, Air Lass, is bidding for hat-trick through her career debut at Perry Barr.
The only hard luck with the black and white b***h is the fourth trap from which she will race tonight. Firstly, she has rarely raced from that number, and the few times that she raced in black, Betinboots missed the winner’s spot.
Avoiding the traffic and crowding will remain to be the elements for his success.
