Well my Betta fish(the unkillable fish*knock on wood*) is living in my new 30 gallon tank. He's used to being in a small bowl above my TV. I'm thinking he might not like all the moving water? maybe its bad for him?

Should i just move him back into his bowl?

  1. Bettas are tropical and thrive in heated water.  (In fact, many diseases are caused by unheated water, which weakens their immune system and makes them listless.)  Bowls are not suitable for bettas (or any fish.)

If you get other fish and do not want to do the which-fish-is-compatible-with-bettas dance (or stress him with the current), get the betta a separate aquarium (like a 5 gallon) and do regular water changes.
