What's the difference between male and female bettas?

  1. Males are bigger, with bigger fins, and more beautiful colour, wheras the females are smaller, with smaller fins, and a duller colour.

    Good luck on breeding those Bettas!!


  2. Male Betas have much longer fins. While, the female on the other hand, they have short fins, dorsal, tale ect.  ( plus if you want a couple of choices, they are half moon betas, crowned betas ect. ) here are a couple of sites:

  3. Most males have very large vibrantly colored fins.

    Females have shorter fins, somewhat colorful, but not as colorful as males, some I've seen aren't very nice colors at all (as far as I've seen in my pet stores).
