Question:

Betta fish died! Help!

Well yesterday he was fine. Then this morning he was dead. On the floor of the tank and his chest type deal thing was white. And he was all blue. Why is that so? And why would he die?

  1. Did you use a water conditioner? Was your tank clean?  


  2. Betta's are at best short lived fish.I have never heard of one living many years.Do you have any idea how old this fish was when you got it?

  3. how long have you had him?  Was he eating fine?  Did he have any tank mates?

  4. I would check your tanks vitals. Check your temp, amonia level, and you ph/nitrate levels. If he was blue, it may even be a type of fungus. GOOD LUCK! Make sure you do a water change before adding new fish.

  5. How old was he, Was eating his food and, Was the tank clean?
