  1. 2.5 gallon is too small for a single betta even, alone he needs a 5g filtered heated and to have tnakmates he really should have atleast a 10gallon.

  2. for betta to have tankmates you need 10 gallons minimum..bettas need their space..there is hardly any room for him in a 2.5 gallon tank...where will you fit more fish...NONE is my answer...

  3. u probally can put some females betta in but i doubt it.......

  4. In a 2.5 gallon tank? Nothing. I'd search for at least a 10g tank if you want some tankmates.

  5. some ghost shrimp OR an otocinclus OR 2 cory cats as some buddies.

But not ALL of those. Just pick one. =)

In my betta tanks, they each have a snail. They are in a 2.5 gallon tank each.

  6. A betta needs a minimum of a 5 gallon tank with filter and heater.  A 2.5 will not cycle so still needs to be totally cleaned regularly.  You don't have room for any other fish and in an area that small a betta would feel threatened and probably kill another fish.

  7. Well you can't put any other tropical or regular fish because then they betta is going to eat it. You should put your betta with some other betta fish. Who knows they might even be related (family members).

P.S- That is a good tank for many bettas!

  8. dont put anything with a boy betta or it will it. betta's are also called siamese fighting fish. they have teeth. i guess you could put a fish with a girl betta but i dont know. i heard from a pet expert at a pet store that you have to have at least 1 gallon of water for each fish you have. but im not sure so dont try anything until you ask a professional at a pet store or somewhere. hope this helps. good luck! be carefull
