The runners competing in this race are:

Mar Adentro,
Humidor,
Nocturnal Affair,
Monsieur Joe,
Green Beret,
Invincible Ash,
Prinzde Glas,

Sir Reginald.
Better Be The One began 2012 with a successful start. The 6-year-old gelding finished 1st in the Open Polytrack, at Kranji, on 15th January, 2012. The win in this race successfully completed his winning streak and earned
him a hat-trick.
He defeated Argy Bargy, in the Garden City Trophy, on 25th September, 2011.
He finished in first place at the same venue, in the Saas Fee Stakes, on 16th October, 2011, by beating Apache Crown.
Inxile is also in a good position. The 7-year-old-son of Fayruz, out of Grandel, started his seasonal debut in 7th place, in the Al Naboodah Construction Group Conditions Race, at Meydan, which was held on 20th January,
2012.
Inxile’s performance improved a great deal in the Classifieds Trophy Handicap, also at Meydan, on 3rd February, 2012. He finished as a runner-up to Monsieur Joe.
His trainer, David Nicholls, is hoping that Inxile will be able to gather pace and lead this race.
Monsieur Joe, the 5-year-old gelding, has gained attention and a new fan base by defeating Inxile in his last race.
The son of Choisir, out of Pascali failed to impress in the race before that.
On 5th January, 2012, Monsieur Joe finished in 6th place, at Meydan, in the Longines Column Wheel Chronograph Handicap.
If the prediction is to be made based on previous performances, it looks like Better Be The One will lead this race. He has been in good form and his trainer, M. Freedman, is pleased with his performance.
The second place is likely to be acquired by Inxile as there is a steady progression in his performance.
Monsieur Joe also has the capability to lead the race if luck is on his side in this race.
The contenders for the third place finish are Green Beret, Happy Dubai, Nocturnal Affair and Mar Adentro.
