  1. Me-I say Belfast, I love the north.

  2. They're completely different. If you want to pass a pleasant day or two, opt for Kilkenny - it's a small, pretty, provincial town.

Belfast is a city, albeit a relatively small one, and has many of the cultural, leisure and shopping facilities that you would expect in a place with a metroploitan population of approx 500,000. If you've more time, therefore, go for Belfast. It also offers beautiful mountain and coastal scenery within less than an hour's drive. The countryside around Kilkenny on the other hand, is pleasant but nothing to write home about.

  3. belfast

  4. Kilkenny- i might be biased as i live there in the summer but the air is so pure and everyone's really laid back it's lovely place to go and if you need- i can recommend a great bed and breakfast where my maid staid

  5. I love Kilkenny, but as a place to spend a pleasant afternoon shopping and drinking coffee. If you're going for more than 6 hours, go to Belfast.

  6. belfast it is rapidly changing.
