Better Gas Mileage mods for a 150 GY6 4-stroke scooter?

Question

I'm considering a light piston kit, air intake and muffler without jetting. Would running a 150cc GY6 lean hurt the engine or just make sure every last drop of gas is burned? I'm hoping these items will help get all the energy out of gas that is currently going in the engine to the pavement. I ride a motofino centenial 150 GY6 (4-stroke) and get around 90mpg now.

that has some GY6 performance parts.  There was an exhaust kit in there, a performance variator and a few other things.  Hopefully that will help.
