  1. Allen/Pierce/Garnett

  2. ones a theory, the other is a FACT...

EDIT: funny and succinct analysis there ATA...lol

  3. If Houston win the title, then they're as good. The King wears the crown.

  4. Boston by far. McGrady = hurt, Yao = hurt + soft, Artest = crazy.

  5. We have seen the Boston Trio, and to be honest, it should be pretty much equal if you look at it from a team stand point.

Ex: Pierce/Garnett High Pick and Roll, Garnett sends pick cuts to basket, Pierce can penetrate / draw foul, or possibly kick out to ray allen that got free off another off the ball pick.

The same thing can be applied to Houston, we expect T-Mac and Yao to run the high pick and roll and the possibility of Artest being a perimeter threat. The problem is you see Garnett as having a quicker step than Yao, so he'd be better suitable for this type of play. But Yao is more of a dominant scoring presence than Garnett atleast last season. Allen is a better perimeter shooter than Artest and to be honest I think T-Mac is a better playmaker than Pierce is.

Both teams have a dominant post player, a perimeter threat, and a playmaker...I would still have to give it to Boston as I feel they have better athleticism and better defense, while offensively I think they would be equally efficient.

  6. Bynum, Gasol, and Kobe =)

As for your question, I like the trio of Yao, McGrady and Artest better. Its not like I'm hating on Garnett, Pierce and Allen; its just that I like the former better. I also think that in a playoff match, or a Finals match-up between these two teams, Houston will prevail.

  7. Allen/Pierce/Garnett has won a championship so they should be the better trio.

  8. Celtics

  9. The Celtics have the better trio.  The proof is in the pudding.  One season together and they have one NBA championship.

  10. Allen/Pierce/Garnett for sure. Together they've won a championship while McGrady and Yao together hav'nt made it out of round one in the NBA Playoffs. Adding Artest will help but it's not enough to be like the big three they have in Boston. Plus with Yao's injuries no one will know if he's gonna be at the top of his game. And neither Artest, Tmac, or Yao can stand to the defensive talent that KG brings.

  11. The Houston Rockets are still a question mark since those three haven't played together yet, so we don't know how well that is going to workout so for now the celtic trio seems better...however, i believe that if the rockets are healthy and stable (meaning artest doesn't mess up the chemistry, which he probably won't) for the whole d**n year...i think the Rockets will be the best team (yes, i think they just might be better then the lakers)

  12. won't know until the season starts

  13. We have seen how well Boston's 3 have worked together. They can mesh because they are willing to give up some personal pride for the greater good.

Artest is still too much of a loose cannon no matter how good he can be. T-Mac and Yao are brilliant players but they will never amount to anything  if they cannot stay healthy for a season.

Especially T-Mac who is getting soft, how many times have we seen him fall in love with that long jumper instead of banging in for a better attempt closer to the rim?

  14. Boston is still better but I wish Houston will win the Finals. This must be T-mac's best season if they win the Championship
