Better bike 4 me?

Question

Currently have 2005 yz250 with flywheel weights and fmf pipe. Dont do that kind of riding anymore, have been on some of the best tracks in the U.S.A, but am older now and mostly ride tracks we make in fields and trails and dirt roads in the southeast. Im looking for something that rolls on the power better, that still has the suspension and some juice also. I was thinking a 250f of somekind. Any ideas from yall would be appreciated. Thanx in advance.

I think a yz450f would be best for you. It sounds like you're an experienced rider. a 450 isn't that much heavier than a 250f. it will have the power that your yz250 has, but will be more controlable.

I'd get a four-stroke 250, but still a race bike. It won't be as powerful as the yz250, but will still know how to roll. Also, it will have great suspension, etc. EXAMPLE: YZF250.

i would go with the crf 250x that has electric start and you could still take out the restricter in the carb and it will hve alot of power still

well if your not being 100% racing type, then go for the crf250x or the wr250f, wich are from honda or yamaha, these bikes are great with trails but can still take the racing track if you really want it  to.

Yeah the CRF250X, WR250F or even a KTM 250XC-F would be good choices but if you want an MX bike any of the 250F models would be fine. Kawasaki seems to be the 250F to have for 2008, but I would just go with the one I could get the best deal and support on. I went from a KX 250 2 stroke to a CRF250R a couple years ago and I love it. I have ridden a new YZ250 2 stroke and new CRF and YZF 450's this past month and I still prefer the 250F. When you are riding slow the power feels like an XR but a little snappier, but when you get in to it there is more than enough power to keep you smiling all day.

are you kidding??? you have one of the best all around bikes ever made, if you need to buy a bike for certain terain than you should stop riding altogether, part of riding is adapting so take your awesome bike and ride it...................

or you can sell it and maybe buy a CRF 450,, Hondas are the best built bike around and you will be pleased with even a 2005 model. Have fun.
