Better football school? Notre Dame or Ohio State?

In terms of fans, history, and of course the team. Which one is the best?

Notre Dame in terms of history and tv. However, The Ohio State and USC are right on their heels.

I would say Notre Dame,but then again,they get more publicity than any other school,Notre Dame's football team gets invited to bowl games even if they have a mediocre team

dude i think Ohio State its fan base travels everywhere its tradition far exceeds Notre Dame like if you look at the Michigan Ohio State game alone there are usually100 thousand plus people that watch that game live

plus we have more Heisman Trophy winners plus the only person to win the award twice played for the Buckeyes Archie Griffin we also have a better recrueting class

In terms of fans, history and team, I would say ND.

In the past it was Notre Dame, 1970's through the 1990's.  I would say now it is Ohio.  Ohio and Notre Dame has been good football schools.  I hope Notre Dame has a better year this year.  I remember in the 1970's when Woody Hayes was the Coach.  He was very different. Got fired after a bowl game, Coach Hayes punched (I can't recall the team now) a player from the opposing team.
