Question:

Better job telemarketer or shuttle bus driver?

With the shuttle bus driver job I would be driving around people who are unable to take the traditional bus system in a para-transit bus, and the telemarketer job I would be calling existing clients renewing their memberships so it would not be cold calling.

  1. The driving would be much better. you'd get to see people in person & existing accounts or not...nobody likes telemarketers calling them! Also...HMMM moving around all day or sitting in a 6x6 cubicle...

  2. Neither is a "good" job. Get an education so you can find a decent job.

  3. I'd go for the bus driver. You set your own schedule and hey, everyone expects you to be a little late anyways, so......

Para-transit busses are a lot better than normal buses too, no more dealing with questionable hygiene people....

Hmmm, telemarketing, call people to annoy them. That sounds like the bestest job ever.... Sure........ I cannot wait to sit in a uncomfortable chair for 8 hours staring at a screen and annoying people over the phone..... Catch my drift?

Just out of curiosity where do you live? I'm up in Calgary Canada and i think our shuttle bus driver get atleast $17/hr to start with normal bus drivers starting at $20. But then again the government will take 30-40% of that and you'll have to deal with sky high rent.

That's what they tell you now.  If they are honest (???) then I would prefer the telemarketer.

    IF THEY ARE HONEST...

    Good Luck...
