  1. Depends if your teeth are impacted, partially impacted, erupted into the mouth, broken, etc.

  2. If it is creating pain and swelling and there is no space in the jaws to come out then you can not wait for its eruption and you have to get them surgically removed. Sometimes the wisdom teeth are horizontally angulated instead of vertical angulation and put pressure on the front molars, in that case also you have to cut out them. They even have the facility of free dental consultation.

  3. For that you need to ask the dentist. Every case is different. Some people never need to get them out, they either fit in their mouth, or never come through the gum. Others have them start to come through but there isn't enough room so have to have them pulled. And then others may have them start to move directly over the back molars so the only way to get them out is surgery.

You need to ask the dentist and get xrays to be able to tell what is best for you.

  4. Get em cut.  Its less painfull because your under anesthetic but youll need some time off afterwards.  Pulling them just hurts really badly and can lead to complications.
