Better to have dual voice coils or just 1?

I don't know if dual or single voice coils makes a difference or not but i like to have really good sound quality... NOT JUST LOUD. so would a single or dual voice coil be better for me if i was going to just get one sub

  1. the amount of voicecoils will not help you in sound quality. It is only good for wiring options. nothing else.

    You can use nice one voicecoil with 4/8Ohm impedance and still be loud enaugh wit good quality.


  2. go with the DVC model subs because with one or two subs you can get different impedance's (ohms) because you have two different wiring options

    you could wire the sub for the lower of the impedance's (will not have as good as sound quality as higher impedance's but it will be easier (cheaper) to power
