Better vacation- Puerto Vallerta or Cabo San Lucas?

Question

We're planning a vacation at the end of Sept and can't decided if we should vacation in Puerto Vallarta or Cabo San Lucas. We love sightseeing, snorkeling, and just about any type of outdoor excursion. We're also really interested in doing a jungle/waterfall activity.

We plan to stay at an all-inclusive for a week so would prefer the destination thay will give us plenty of options (also open to resort suggestions). Any info you have will be a big help! Thanks!

I would rather do P.Vallarta...sounds like u would enjoy that place better! Both places are cool,but i like P.Vallarta better! I think Cabo is overrated,but if ur gonna do the all inclusive u could be in little town aslong as ur all inclusive ur alright! But i think P.valarta has more to do and i think that place from what ur looking for would suit u good! Cabo is a desert,that little town has 15000 people,what made Cabo famous was the celebrities from Hollywood that dont leave thier Hotel! The beaches are nicer..but Vallartas are alright! If u go to Vallarta theirs this trip to an island that a famous person owned,they give u a show on the island at night,on the trip u can drink and dance till u get their,15 minutes i think,its pretty cool check it out! And thier is this Pirate Party ship,u eat on their,drink,then party! Ull have fun on it,even the person that doesnt like stuff like that will enjoy it,BELIEVE ME!!! Then their are Secret water falls that tourist dont know of, just the locals,but dont get a local to take u thier,becareful,ask ur hotel about it! And if u decide to go to vallarta,their are alot of people that are on the beach that have their own little boat,get one and ask them to show u the famous houses along the coast,not to far from the beach10-15 minutes,its safe dont worry! Stallone has a house their,Mana,a famous Spanish Rock group,lizebeth Taylor house one their also,and many other houses that i forget! U know what,go to Vallarta,trust me ull have more fun!!! I just came back from P.V. and it's my 3rd time going there. I've also been to Cabo once. Personally my opinion is that Cabo has much nicer beaches and little coves and is very very touristy. P.V. is a pretty chill, relaxing destination. Quite relaxing and a little less touristy. Actually when we were down there, at our hotel there were quite a lot of mexicans on vacation there. One thing i know for sure from reading your question is that you would deffinatly enjoy a zip lining tour. You can do this in both p.v. and Cabo. Swing by a cable over the tree tops and repel down waterfalls. Look it up, im sure its right up your alley. hope this help, have fun!

my choice is Manzanillo,Colima, Mx. it has less crime than PV here's a web site that will help www.gomanzanillo.com it's a little south of PV& the weather is better

Puerto Vallarta is a nice choice.  I believe they have jungle things at or near Puerto Vallarta.  Puerto Vallarta is kind a near a major city.  Guadalajara, the second largest city in Mexico.  If you get bored, you can head there.  The state of Jalisco has so much to see.  It's where Tequila is from and Mariachi music.  I know you'll like it and have fun there.  I liked it myself.
