Betterthanalright set to shine at Cork – Handicap Hurdle Preview
Betterthanalright is aspiring to exhibit a beautiful run at Cork racecourse on Thursday, March 22 and finish first in the UCC SU Handicap Hurdle.
The high-status contest of 3m distance will begin at 4:45 (GMT). The total prize money for the event is €14,625.
The Liam Casey-trained bay gelding is geared up to compete against Daring Article, Mississippi River, Beau Michael, Ballintemple Star, Define, Headford Flyer, Mubrook, Sheer Genius, Sugar Bullet, Colls Corner, The Lady Granuaile, Novarov, Mini Vic, Tell
Dawstown, Undone, Abarta and Current Resession.
Betterthanalright is on a hat-trick at the moment. The dashing horse delivered outstanding performances and bagged a couple of consecutive victories during the month of February 2012.
The six-year-old maverick runner started his career with a runner-up rank on September 25, 2011. He achieved a fabulous triumph in the very next outing on October 23.
Thus, Casey’s talented pupil possesses an excellent track record. His career chart is awash with epic success streaks and elegant performances.
At the moment, he is carrying a lot of momentum and fighting spirit which he will unleash at Cork course in a bid to complete the first ever hat-trick of his career. His chances to thrive are as high as 95 percent.
Out of the other runners, Mini Vic and Novarov look to be strong enough at the moment, and each of the duo will perform well in the race.
Mini Vic has been at the peak of her form for the last four months. The brilliant bay mare finished second in a big race on December 27, 2011. She went on to bag a victory during the same month. The mare repeated the same during the first two months of the
calendar year.
On the other hand, Novarov accomplished a marvellous victory in November 2011. He moved forward to earn a runner-up rank the next outing during the same month. The bay gelding again finished second in his last race on February 18, 2012.
Along with this duo, some of the other runners like Sheer Genius, Undone, Daring Article and Mississippi River are too likely to do well in the race. Thus, success is going to be a hard nut to crack for Betterthanalright. Good luck to the horse.
