Betting Odds; CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Malaysia

The PGA Tour is finally coming to an end and after covering Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico, it has finally stepped into Asia.
The CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Malaysia is the next, hottest thing on the PGA tour with only 40 players and no halfway cuts. A quick look would suggest that despite being a small field, it is composed of the top 25 PGA Tour players
from the FedEx Cup standings, the top 10 players from the 2010 Asian Tour Order of Merit and 5 sponsor exemptions. The event has been sponsored by Asian Tour and the PGA Malaysia.
The field will be competing for $6 million purse, but who will win the title is the question. To answer this crucial question here is the betting preview of the tournament.
Seung-Yul Noh
The 19-year-old is a possible winner for the upcoming event as he is in great form in the current season with three top-2 finishes in Malaysia. The Korean finished second in the Iskandar Johor Open, won the May bank Malaysian Open
and bagged the runners-up spot in the One Asia Tour's Kolon Korea Open.
And thats not all; the Korean delivered a serious game on the European tour as well. He was 28th in the USPGA at Whistling Straits and 4th in the Omega European Masters in Switzerland. The player was fearless on the new course.
This was evident from the way he tackled the course, which was new for him. Later on he defeated KJ Choi in Malaysia and declared himself invincible.
Noh is seated at the top of the Asian Order of Merit and is eyeing the European tour next season, which indicates that he is ready to give one more superb performance. Speaking to the press, Noh said, "Malaysia is always good to
me. Every time I come, it's a good experience. During the beginning of the season and most recently, my form has been at its best for quite some time. I stumbled a bit in the middle of the year as I needed to get used to Europe with the different courses and
the travel.”
Kiradech Aphibarnrat
Next on the list is yet another Asian. This Thai is a two-time World Junior champion and has wonderful attacking style. The player will be having an edge on the course as it is stretched on 6811 yards,
par 71 and Aphibarnrat has a history of conquering the par 71 courses with long tee shots.
Aphibarnrat has some fair experience with the courses in Malaysia. He has competed in five events in the area and has secured the top five spots in four starts.
Arjun Atwal
The third player on the betting list is the winner of the 2003 Wyndham Championship. In the current season he seized the third place in the McGladrey Classic, but missed the half way cut in the Justin Timberlake Shriners for Children
Open.
Despite, this inconsistent form, the Indian is being considered for the top of the leader board. The reasoning behind the notion is the limited field and his excellent putting stats. Atwal is one of the few players who can handle
shots in the rain and score a birdie despite missing the fairway.
Moreover, he has been to Malaysia in the past and declared a victory in the 2008 Malaysian Open. Backed up by a victory and good putting, chances are that the player will seek the top of the leader board.
Thats it for the betting preview of the CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Malaysia, which will kick off tomorrow at MINES Resort and Golf Club. The event co-sanctioned by PGA Malaysia, Asian Tour and PGA tour will be greeting a very strong
field of 40 players including names like Ricky Fowler, YE Yang and Bill Haas. Who will win the title and who will make the most birdies is a question that will be answered on Sunday.
