Betting Preview - who will top the charts in Czech Open?
The Czech open is here and it is taking place at the Prosper Resort in Celadna from the 19th August to 22nd August, 2010.The world top 50 players are going to contest in this event , however out of these 50 only few are going to make it to the top of the leader board. Here is the betting preview of the players who are chosen based on their stats and past performances in this season.
Alejandro Canizares
Alejandro Canizares is one of the most talented young players, however the bad luck with the player is that he has come close to many victories in past but failed to attain one.
The winner of the Imperial Collection Russian Open was twice a part of the playoff against one of the finest European players but he ended on the wrong side of the leader board. Yet the player shows the confidence which is required for a good sportsman as he is not afraid of being a runner-up.
He has a driving range of 286.94 yards, which is not that long but he has 68.69% in hitting the fairways in regulation, which is pretty decent. Moving to approach shots, he has a record of 68.65% of greens in regulation. However it is his putting that sets him on the top with an average of 28.21 putts per round.
According to the golf experts, there is a one major shortfall in Alejandro Canizares’ game is that is he cannot play little shots that include bumps, runs etc which means if he is stuck somewhere in a rough than he will be going down the drain. Despite, having this little flaw Alejandro is on the top of the list keeping in view his excellent hitting the greens in regulations, which means that it will be seldom that his ball will be stuck in a rough.
Michael Hoey
The next player on the list of the top 2 players is Michael Hoey the winner of the Estoril Open de Portugal in Oitavos Dunes.
Statistically speaking he is long but inaccurate off the tee, although he isn’t off line by a big percentage as he hits 73.15% of greens in regulation. However the big problem area lies in his putting, which is denoted by an average of 30.71 putts per round. However, this issue has been solved to some extent, with him winning last year’s tournament with only 27 putts in the final round.
As for his current status is concerned he recently had 3 top fifteens in his last four events in which he made the cut. Secondly his best finish out of these four was in the 3 Irish Open, where he finished in the 7th spot. According to the experts, Michael Hoey is not showing any impressive results as his stats are very poor but looking at his recent performance there has been great progress in the player’s game as being inaccurate on the tee and still finishing in the top positions on one of the toughest courses of the world is not an easy job. Prosper Resort in Celadna is considered as one of the easiest courses in the world so chances are that Michael Hoey will be in his comfort zone while performing here.
This was the betting preview of the players that might show up at the top 2 positions of the leader board of the Czech Open that is taking place at the Prosper Resort in Celadna from the 19th August to 22nd August, which means the tournament has already started and the winner of the tournament is not far away. However according to the analysts, many low scores are expected on the course with easier par and pleasant weather prevailing in the favour of the players. More the less this is the penultimate event of the season and the players chosen from it will go in the Ryder cup team.
