Betting at a sports book in a casino 1st time... parlay question.?

What is the Minimum bet at a Casino's Sports book?

I want to place a few bets on some college football games this weekend in Reno and I have never bet before...

Lets say I do a 4 game college football parlay and all may games win.... I bet $25 .... How much would I win and I can I bet only $25 on a parlay.....

Do I just go up to the sports book window and say I want to bet a 4 game college football parlay... and tell them the teams i think will cover... or do i need to fill something out first?

Any advice on bets that have a good pay back ???

depends on which book you use, the usual for a 4 teamer is 12 to 1 and half point parlays are around 17 to 1. If you play a parlay card which usally has all the games being played, it is a 2.00 dollar minimum which has the lines already set the previous week. When you bet at the counter, the payoffs are nearly the samr but the lines may be slightly different depending on the current action they are taking, usuallly a 2 buck minimum, so a $25 bet would pat $300.When you go to the counter you tell them the ID # which is next to the team you want.

When i go to Vegas i always put a couple of fun parlay cards in for the minimum and pick 10 teamers-- Pays 1000 to 1-- who knows,you might get lucky and the payoff is huge for a couple of bucks.
