Betting on the HORSE RACES?

Question

what is a sure to win strategy for betting on horses if there are 15 horses,and you have 300 to bet on.........?????????guess like h**l,or are odds really so important??????????????my gramps always did great with gray horses,was it his luck or does color matter????????????????

Horse race bets 101-

From what I have been taught by this my husband who has been betting in horse racing for 35 plus years, taught by his father who had way more years invested plus was one of those consutants to place bets,

#1 yes, the odds do count, but long shots can pay big time money if you do what is called takeing a chance and literally gamble on it.

#2 the way I pick horses now that I was taught a little somthing, somthing, is you place a three way bet for two dollars in a box trifecta......pick the first two best horses by the favorites, skip the third favorite and go for the next one for your third horse to place bet.....sometimes this could be the long shot or not.......OR do the 10 cent bet for four horses with is about two dollars. You get ten percent of the big winnings if you pick your horses right. I was on all day last week with this one, I was off one horse each race  UG!!! anyways, pick these the same way.

#3 you can also make your third horse or any horse the grey horse. Supposly grey horses are good luck.

# 4 I also have tried picking by trainers too. Sometimes i mix this all up. Alex Solis is good and so is some other guy I cant think of right now and i threw my program away.....anyways  these dont always come in when i pick like this but once in a while they do.....

I won a long shot by picking the name of the jockey and it payed out. not big money to some but it was to me, cuz off of two bucks i won 165. YAHOO!! chuckee cheese here we come.

# whatever.....when in doubt just place a larger amount on one horse of the favorites ( go by the numbers on side of horses number ) to win or show. I did this with 20 dollars and won 200. YAHOO> anyways hope this helps.

there is no sure way to win in betting on horses. The odds matter but not always. If you are at the track, the best thing to do is study your program, see how they ran in their last couple races. Find out how they worked out. I know I win doing that and sometimes pure luck by going with names that stand out to me. Good Luck to you!

horses are tuff my friend. thats a beast that you can not predict from day to day. i go with long shots and do ok from time to tim. gl if you must play my friend. i only play the triple rown races.
