The international cricketing arena has had the privilege of seeing one of the finest stroke players in the sport of cricket. Each of these classy batsmen has his own unique style of batting, among these class-acts one will also come across one of the most
text bookish batsmen as well.
A class-act is a batsman, who can play in any given cricketing situation or circumstances. Thus, it was hard to list them from 1990 onwards, but based on their natural batting style, unique stroke play, and, their records at different venues, and, against
different international teams, they have been included in Bettor.com’s top ten classy-batsmen list.

as “the Prince of Port-of-Spain”, “the Prince of Trinidad” and “the Prince”.
Brian Charles Lara was born on 2nd May, 1969 Santa Cruz, Trinidad. The Prince has played for the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Warwickshire-c862 cricket teams respectively.
His inclusion in these teams was not only of a World class batsman, but also bowled as a part-time bowler.
The 5 foot and 8 inches tall West Indian was the 10th among eleven children. He got his general education from Fatima College and his cricketing knowledge came about from the Harvard Coaching Clinic.
Lara’s international cricket career started at 20 years of age, as he made his debut against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755, scoring 44 and 6 in the match respectively, but his actual cricketing career took off when he was just six year of age. The veteran star batsman climbed
the ladder through the channel of playing under-16, under-19 and eventually earned a position in the national side.    
Brian Lara has the most thrilling foot work in the history of the game. The fact that he had such a high bat lift it allowed him to flourish the cricket ball towards the boundary at ease, in other words he used the natural flow of the bat to give the cricket
ball some momentum.
His unique batting stance gave him the option of playing shots al-round the cricket field. Arguably, he was known to be at his best, when it came to driving, cutting or pulling the cricket ball.
The Prince is also known for his sweet and gentle timing. On the other hand, if required he could be simply brutal in his approach. Especially, when it came to fast bowlers, he was so quick on his foot-work, that at times it felt, that the star batsman had
all the time in the World to read the line and length of the ball and strike it firmly towards the boundary rope.
Lara has all the attributes of being a class-act, as he has delivered against every bowling attack, at any given venue, weather and pitch conditions. He also used his ability to strike effortless boundaries and sixes.
His best innings of 400 runs in a single innings, was an exceptional effort from the veteran left-hand dasher. During the course of his conquest to the 400 runs mark, he played all round the ground and among his several scoring shots in the innings only
a few were mistimed or misplaced.
Like mentioned before, Lara’s ability to move quickly within the crease and his settling on his back-foot gave him ample time to negate any sort of bowling power-play, whether it was seam movement, conventional swing, or, reverse swing, he could take on
any pacer on any given day. Not to forget, that Lara was an excellent player of spin, the veteran is known for his late sweep and cut shots.
