Between Cliff Lee, Brandon Webb, and CC Sabathia, who has been the more dominant pitcher this season?

C.C. Sabathia is the most dominant among the three because on how he finishes the games, and as of recent, in a complete fashion. He may start very poorly, but right now, he is the most dominant among the three. To simply put it, if I have those 3 starters on a short series, I would start Sabathia on Game 1, because he is the most dominant among them, followed by Lee, followed by Webb. Does that make sense?

Good question. Here is my argument:

Sabathia: 14 wins, 201.1 IP, 185 hits, 71 runs, 66 ER's, 17 HR's allowed, 49 BB's, 197 K's, 2.95 ERA, 1.16 Walks and hits/ inning (WHIP), .245 opposing BA

Webb: 19 wins, 184.0 IP, 157 hits, 65 runs, 56 ER's, 9 HR's allowed, 45 BB's, 153 K's, 2.74 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, .231 Opposing BA

Lee: 18 wins, 177.2 IP, 166 hits, 51 runs, 48 ER's, 8 HR's, 26 BB's, 141, K's, 2.43 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, .249 opposing BA

These are all of their major 2008 stats. All three have been absolutely spectacular, but I think Cliff Lee has been the best. First of all, he has done all of this with a team who is 3 games under .500 and is can't consistently help out their pitching. He has given up the least amount of runs between the three, while also letting up the least amount of HR's and walks. He has been absolutely phenomenal, and I do believe he tops Webb and Sabathia in 2008. My personal favorite would be Tim Lincecum, but thats for another day. Cliff Lee has to take the honors here!

because you use the word dominant, it goes to sabathia, but if were talking consistency, it goes to Lee, he has a fantastic record despite being on a team with very little run support.

Cliff Lee, to be on such a bad team and still have so little losses and so many wins, you know hes good, CC was on Cliffs team and did bad, so you know Cliffs more dominant than him and Brandon should be doing better with his team.

CC Sabathia has easily been the best of the bunch. Hes carried his team on his back and has great strikeout numbers along with 8 wins. The guys been great for his team and has been unstoppable in the NL.
