Verizon FiOS is unfortunately not an option. I wish only basic TV and internet service--no frills. I am happy with my current phone service. Please give me actual out-of-pocket monthly costs including ALL taxes and fees. Thank you.

  1. In  Comcast, basic cable cost $12+ and the internet is $19.99 for the first 6 months and it will be $42.00 after. So it will cost you $54 plus tax after the promo.

While Dish offers a Family package for 19.99 but the satellite internet is 49.95

It makes you pay $69.94 plus tax, equipment leases...plus more. Dish basic satellite internet speed is crawling 512kbps, no closer to Comcast's 6mbps. Dish may have more channels than basic Comcast analog. If they are the only to choose from, I will choose Comcast and you will not have a contract like satellite TVs. But if we are talking about digital cable (not basic) Comcast bundles are generally expensive than Dish or Directv. You may not see those prices in there commercials because thats the basic of basics and Comcast telemarketers will usually sell their Digital Starter Package. Tried all available service providers, I am now with Directv and AT&T for phone and internet.  By the way AT&T landline($19), AT&T DSL basic internet($19) can be bundled with Dish TV(24.99) and its the cheapest bundle below $100. Go to AT&T official website.
