Between gender!!! any ideas????

HI Everybody,

I am 18 year old boy. So far in all these years of my life i've been occupied with my work stuff in school days with a good environment(Good parents Friends etc). I never cared or bothered about any girls in my life. I never considered any girl as my girl-friend or atleast as a friend(except for my mom and sister.). Now i've graduated my school and started my engineering course. Now something bothers me that i dont have any friends of opposite gender.I dont know why. Even my mom adviced me that i should atleast have any girl as a friend so that i can have some information about "between genders". please tell me is that compulsory for me to have a girl friend ?

if so how can i have one? any ideas??

do u like hang out with friends? it's a good start. hang out with friend that can improve ur connection so that u can know a lot of people, which is including girls. I don't know why u never considered any girls as ur girl friend or at least just friend. But one thing for sure, relationship is maintained by good and constant communication and interaction. so, if u never maintain communication with any other girls, then no wonder u don't have a feeling that u have a friend (girl).

do a lot of activities that can enhance ur connections and friends... I hope it works! good luck buddy...

Treat all girls like the way you treat your mom or sister. Look upon them as your extended family of sisters. That way you will not feel awkward when you talk to them.

But first, you need to know girls. Start with your own circle of boy friends. Some of them are bound to know some girls or have younger sisters. You can get to know girls through them. From there your circle of girlfriends will slowly expand.

Another way is to visit places of interest like museums or libraries. Soon you will find regulars of the opposite s*x there. Smile at them after seeing them in the same place a few times. If they do smile back, then you can move in & talk to them.

You are a smart guy. I don't really have to teach you much. Just use your imagination & the local environment to your advantage.
