Between interlace and progressive..?

will I can notice any difference when I'm watching a motion picture?? any lose of picture quality??

  1. Progressively scanned pictures will tend to be more choppy. Progressive scans put all of the lines of the display up at once. This tends to cause some real time lag between frames.

    Interlaced scans tend to be lower quality but less lagged. They put up half of the lines of display at once and then the other half afterwards. The quality is about 2/3rds of the quality of progressive, but less lag.


  2. The difference is so small you would barely notice if you squinted.
