Between these two TV's which one is better?

Between these two? Higher resolution is better am I correct? It would be in my room and would mostly be used for PS3 gaming. I know Dynex is Best Buy brand, and Viewsonic makes some pretty good computer monitors. I've only seen the Dynex in person, but found the VS online and it looks like a good deal? Any input would be greatly appricated! Thanks!

obviously the viewsonic is better, better brand, better quality, bigger screen, but it probably wont be much of a difference

VS its much better quality and ive never even heard of dynex

The first one, it has 1080i and the second one only goes to 720p.

720p is normal cable TV. 1080i and 1080p is HD.

buy the view sonic, the overall quality is much higher

and nightmare 1080i and 720p are practically  the same thing and will look no different
