Between victoria and selhurst can you use an oyster card and if yes how much?

On southern railway between victoria and selhurst can I use my child oyster photocard. And if so How much would it be for a child daypass?

The first answer is incorrect in saying that Oyster cards cannot be used on 'overground'  trains. There are some lines on which they can be, the intention of Transport for London being that they will become usable throughout its area. However, it does mean the installation of gates that can read the cards and thse do not exist on Southern Railways at present.
