  1. I find none, but since "predictions" are subjective and relatively easy to make up after the fact, I guarantee that someone will claim that there have been some predictions in the Bible that have come true.

  2. Not one.The bible predicts the end.Still waiting................

  3. One of my favorites is that it predicted Israel would become a nation again in 1948. This is found in Ezekiel 4. This site explains it:

Another of my favorites is in Daniel 9 that predicts exactly when Jesus would be crucified. It is explained in detail here.

  4. NONE. ISLAM IS THE REAL RELIGION TO GO BY. IT'S THE ONLY RELIGION THAT SAYS IF YOU KILL YOURSELF THAT YOU GET A DOZEN VIRGINS WHEN YOU DIE. SWEET.

  5. There aren't any.

Any list that you might find will take a serious amount of suspending your disbelief, accepting arguments from authority, and plain old making stuff up, in order to show you how some vague passage of the bible might relate to something that happened.

  6. The Destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. prophesied by Jesus 40 years beforehand.

  7. Ever heard of a self fulfilling prophecy?  Israel was made a nation, possibly because of that prophecy.  Just like How i'm going to make a prophecy that will come true: this message will appear as a response to your question.

  8. All of them. Next stop, Jesus returns.

  9. Prophecies being fulfilled in our day:

    Matthew 24:14

    2 Timothy 3:1-5

    Isaiah 2:2-4

Prophecy specifically naming Cyrus by name:

    Isaiah 44:28 & 45:1

This was fulfilled in Ezra 1:1 & Daniel 10:1.

Also Daniel chapter 8 has specific prophecies, very detailed, and remarkably fulfilled. Note especially verses 20-25.

  10. Jesus' birth, death and resurrection

  11. Every prophesy added to scripture after the event took place.

The biggest problem with new prophesy is that it doesn't appear to be coming true at all.  Jesus claims the world will degrade before he returns.  All one has to do is compare life today verses Roman times, to realize that that was a big blunder.  Life today is MUCH better than in Jesus' times.  We live longer, better lives, we have morally evolved to believe in the individual, we have democracy in much of the world, and we are technologically advanced to the point where obesity is one of our biggest problems.

    We are fat and happy....ooops.

  12. The ones that were "fulfilled" were written about in the same source as they were predicted, making them as reliable as the prophecy and fulfillment of Harry Potter's defeat of Voldemort.

Try looking at some that weren't fulfilled, like when the Bible said that the Nile would dry up when Egypt was still being ruled by Pharoahs

  13. There are to many to go through here. I would suggest you find yourself a book on the subject.  And, not everyone agrees when a prophecy has been fulfilled or not fulfilled. Jews and Christians for example believe that either Jesus was the prophecied Savior or he was not..depending on your viewpoint.

  14. Revelation 13:18. The mark of the beast.

Fulfilled over a thousand years ago.

Isaiah 9:6-7. For unto us a child is born....

Not about Jesus. Fulfilled about one hundred sixty years ago.

Isaiah 35:1-2. ... the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose ... the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.

Look at Haifa, Israel today. And the second part about one hundred twenty years ago.

Daniel 12:1-13. ... And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

    The mid 1800's

Revelation 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and three-score days ....

From seventh to nineteenth centuries A.D.

Revelation 6:12-13 ... lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs ....

Lisbon, 1755. New England 1780. Many areas 1833. More important symbolic fulfillment than the literal ones cited.

John 10:16 ... they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

    Nineteenth century and ongoing.

Daniel 12:4 ... time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Look at a chart showing the increase in knowledge since the nineteenth century.

Matthew 28:19 I am with you ... unto the end of the world (Actually end of the age).

    Mid nineteenth century.

Ezekiel 37:21 I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen,

whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring

them into their own land: And I will make them one nation in the

    land upon the mountains of Israel;

Begun in the nineteenth century, finished in 1948.

Revelation 3:12 I will write upon him my new name.

New name of Christ. It will no longer be Jesus and a new age will start. World peace will start becoming possible and finally inevitable.

Do you want a few hundred more? There are many more than Christians realize.
