Bichir question?

I am considering a predator tank, and I want to know, What is the min tank size for a bichir? any help aprreciated!

What species are you looking for? Different species grow to different sizes.

Added: For one senegal bichir, go for a 55 at least, but if you want a predator tank with more than just one fish, go for something larger.

For the smallest species, I wouldn't even consider less than 55 gallons, and really, 75 would be more realistic.  If you want to mix in predators (especially large ones), please consider upwards of 100 gallons...  For other predators, you may want to look into Needlefish (Xenentodon cancila) and maybe a larger species of Pike Cichlid (Crenicichla species).
