Bicycle Maintenance?

I am not very mechanically inclined. My daughter's bicycle is not working. It is a multi-speed bike. When she peddles, the chain and gears (sprocket?) on the back wheel spin as well. The bike goes nowhere. Any ideas on what the problem is?

  1. Freewheel or free hub body needs replaced.

    Take it to a bike shop.
