Do you guys think it is trashy for me to bicycle with a backpack shirtless. Im a 24 year old guy who bikes to work every day about 30minutes each way. I need a way to carry lunch to work as well as sometimes things like papers etc but if i bicycle with a shirt on and wear a backpack i get really sweaty. If i dont wear a shirt and just wear the backpack I still sweat but its not as bad and I can just put a shirt on when I get there. What do you guys think?

  1. I've considered the same thing.  I'm probably going to do it.  Just not to work or I'm going to put my shirt on well before I might see my boss or any of his henchmen.

  2. I don't see anything wrong with it. I can relate to your problem as I live in Florida and cycling anywhere can make you sweat. You could also consider a cycling jersey as opposed to shirtless. They are well ventilated and you can switch into a shirt when you arrive. If you don't personally care, I say just go shirtless. I ride shirtless sometimes.

  3. depends where you work and dont worry about what other people think

  4. Why not? I would go ahead with shirtless if it is more comfortable. I don't see anything wrong with it.

  5. It "seems" tasteless, but I don't know why.  I do it sometimes.  Just make sure you don't sunburn.

  6. who cares

  7. i see lots of people ride with backpacks shirtless

  8. how do you plan on explaining those tan lines?!?
