Bicycle Tire and Rim Question

I have a Schwinn Mid-Town and I would like to put 26.1.10 or 26.1.0 tires in it. Where can I find a rim that will accomadate both bike and tire? About how much will it be?

http://pricepoint.com has them, about $150 for the pair of rims... or you could get a wheelset for about $250 but then you'd have to go to 8 speed which would require a new rear derailleur, a new shifter, and a frame realignment.

Asking the same question won't change the answer.
