Bicycle floor pump?

i bought a Schwinn Air Driver 1100 Deluxe Floor Pump with Gauge and it cant lock onto my valve. its brand new and it is one of those 5 in 1 bicycle pumps were it has many features:it can inflate inflatables, tires, and balls. but like i said, it cant lock onto the valve and so theres no air going in. is there something missing in it to work?

you may have a valve called a presta valve. It is a nicer valve that some bike have. go to your bike shop to find out.
