when i pedal the bike, the rear wheel doesn't move at all. the chains work fine, no rust, its a 15 day old bike! i have a freewheel, not a cassette in the rear wheel. that freewheel (main gear) thats supposed to revolve the rear tire, seems to be revolving to every time i pedal, but the wheel doesn't move! i dont kno what to do, i cant buy anything online and no stores sell freewheels. everything in the bike is new i just bought it, is there anything i can do?? thanks

  1. A 15 day warranty?!  It sounds like there's a bearing that's gone bad causing the wheel not to turn.

If I were you, I would cut your losses now and get a quality bike at a reputable bike shop. If after 15 days you're having problems, the bike is a piece of junk and you will continue to have problems.

  2. stop pedaling backwards!

  3. an experienced mechanic, at a bike shop, can fix that problem for you. but I agree with the previous post, get a real bike from your LBS. one with a lifetime warranty, free tune-up, etc. LBS's do sell freewheels, ore can get them and refer you to a wheel builder. WALLYWOOD and tarjay, do not sell bike parts. it isn't cost effective to sell a part that costs nearly as much as the actual bike. their marketing plan is to sell volumes of bikes, made and assembled cheaply, from obsolete components and frame technology..
