Bicycles market?

hello, I live in manchester and I want to buy a bike to move around the city. I've been looking around and all prices seem way too much. I've heard that there's a bike market (or something like that) somewhere in the city where you can find good and cheap 2nd hand bikes. Does anybody know if this really exists and it's precise location???

You could try the Police Bumblebee auctions - they sell on stolen bikes that have been recovered but not claimed.  The link is below.  I've had two bikes from Bumblebee and they were both great.  As I look on it now, there's a "Stealth Dual Suspension DuoTech Mantrax 312" bike in Harrogate for £18.
