Question:

Bicycling Damage to mmmm

I have been riding my road bike for a few months and I am up to some distances. When I get to about 30 I find I am having problems with my labia and all around becoming sore, dry and irritated, there seems no way to keep them clear of all the moving. They are, even sometimes numb for a few hours after. It gets almost too painful to ride and I am concerned I may do long term damage. I have had my bike adjusted and the seat adjusted by a bike shop and they say it should be ok, but that does not work. I wear padded shorts but it seems that does not help. Does anyone have any suggestions? When I am finished I have to soak in the tub the put on some neosoporin to help with healing.

  1. try a schwinn no pressure seat. I love it, It's so comfy. It's pretty much a circle : )

  2. yeah, its a seat in the shape of an extended oval, with pads for your butt, but no prong to intrude into your crotch region. feels like sitting on a heavily padded folding chair.
