Big 8th Grade Question!?

So im going into 8th grade monday, and for some reason im overly curious about what its like. From what i have heard its loaded with drama, but depends on who you hang out with ( Ive started to hang out with the in crowd more lately so ill have to prepare for that ), you lose/make friends, you get alot of homework, theres a less chance of getting in trouble for doing something bad, and its just really fun.

So basicly I have 6 questions i want to ask and need GOOD answers from experienced people.

1.- Is the whole drama thing true?

2.- Are people going to be way more changed the next time I see them? ex. taller, more mature, hotter (for the girls) etc.

3.- What big events are there? besides graduation

4. What are the chances of me getting in a fight?,, I only have like 3 "enemies" and im pretty well known.

5.-Will I loose my old friends (which im kinda hoping will happen, they're really annoying and immature) and make new ones?

6.-Is it really THAT fun?

Also could you tell about your 8th grade experience

1. When you're in the "in" crowd there is definitely more drama, trust me I know.

2. With my friends people didn't really change, some people's style may have changed but not much. You don't notice the changes because everyone changes at the same time.

3. You definitely get more involved more with the school, i.e. student government, pep rallies, etc. Nothing much really.

4. I have never gotten into a fight and fights were generally rare, the only people that I ever saw get into a fight were like the "gangsta" type and those guys.

5. You lose some friends and gain others, most of those changes happen more naturally in high school but if you force it to happen it will.

6. It isn't really exciting, to be honest it really isn't that big of a change from 7th grade. When you get into high school that's when all the real changes occur.

there was no drama for me in 8th grade, the "groups" in our school are all mixed together, the popular girl has some goofy silly friends.... we're all just one big group i guess.... we do have groups but it isn't as defined as other schools

IT IS REALLY THAT FUN, cause for yr 9 u hv to prepare for IGCSE and IB and in year 7 your the smallest of the whole school... so year 8 you can kinda relax
