Big Bad Brad hot favourite for the 480m race at Hall Green
Big Bad Brad is likely to dominate proceedings in the 480 metres flat race at Hall Green in England on Friday, May 11, 2012. A cash prize of £145 has been set for the winner of the Grade A1 event.
Both the speed and stamina will be important in the race, which is scheduled to start at 22:20 GMT. Following are the runners, who will be seen in action at Hall Green: Big Bad Brad, Blakefield Hitz, Springlawn Bert, Normandy Black, Glenbower Boy and Ardera
Fernando.
Looking at the recent form of Big Bad Brad, the bookmakers had no choice, but to rate him as the favourite to win the race. He has been performing with a lot of consistency, thus the punters are also expected to risk a lot of bets in his favour.
The P. Sallis’ trainee has earned three victories out of his past five appearances, which shows the kind of rhythm he is carrying at the moment. He will definitely make things extremely hard for his rivals at Hall Green today.
In his most recent outing, the blue hound was completely dominant, as he did not allow anyone else to come closer. Despite not being rated as the favourite, he earned the victory by a clear margin of more than three lengths. He was in the lead at the start
and kept in increasing his speed as the race progressed.
A similar run would definitely ensure Big Bad Brad another race victory. He is the son of Droopys Maldini out of Archers Sparkler and was born in August 2009.
It appears that Blakefield Hitz might manage to challenge the race favourite today, as she is a quality runner. She was unable to deliver a strong result in a couple of Grade OR events, but things would be relatively easier for her in this class.
The C. Kyme’s trained b***h has earned just one victory out of her past five races, which shows that she is struggling for consistency to some extent. She finished sixth in her most recent run, which will discourage the punters to risk money on her. She
is the daughter of Royal Impact out of Beechers Girl and was born in July 2010.
