Scientists say that the galaxies around us are moving away. How do they know that they are moving away from their origin and not towards it. How do we know which direction we are going if we don't know where the big bang started. Surely you need to know where the centre is to say which direction you are heading. Also - if we are expanding why do galaxies move away from us. Shouldn't we be moving with the galaxies in the same direction thus creating the illusion that we aren't moving. Like driving behind a car on a road. If you take away the scenery then it will appear that you aren't moving because there is nothing to compare your motion to.
