Question:

Big Brother 10 Veto Ceremony?

Okay so if you saw this week's Veto competition episode (on Tues, Aug 26), at the Veto Ceremony, Dan played a game called Veto Replacement Roulette or something and Michelle ended up on the block. I didn't really get it. It was like suddenly they all said each others names and then Dan put Michelle up without much of an explanation. Could someone explain how that happened? Like something about Ollie losing the bet?

  1. Miss Amanda has it mostly right. The part about losing a bet was Dan saying that Ollie gambled by giving Dan the HOH, he gambled that Dan would go through on the whole deal. Since Dan didn't, Ollie lost the best.

  2. Did you watch the whole show?

Dan was saying that he wasn't going to have 3 people mad at him, and that he wanted "fireworks" so there would be drama in the house and not all the focus on him. There was no bet, it was a deal. And Dan said he didn't want to go through with it cause it would be the stupidest mistake made in Big Brother history.

If you did watch it, you really have to pay attention to what is said in the HOH Room.

  3. Dan made some risky moves this week so he was trying to take some of the target off of him so he came up with this game to try to make the others mad at each other and it wouldn't all end up about how he went back on his word. I hope it works and that this doesn't blow up in his face!

  4. he used roulette as an example of gambling.

then he meant that ollie gambled by trusting dan to go through with the bet. but he always used the roulette to start a little drama between the 4 with the whole whatever you say my name i'll say yours, you could tell some of them were irked by the way they raised their eyebrows or rolled their eyes.

  5. Ollie made a deal with Dan, that if the POV was used, he can pick the replacement

Dan thought if everyone said a different name, that it will take the heat off him, from not keeping the deal

Part of the deal was that Ollie and Michelle were safe, they would not be put on the block.  So, that why Dan said Ollie losing the bet

Ollie broke the deal to.  He was not suppose to say anything to Michelle and Jerry.  He told Michelle hours after making the deal

Ollie was foolish for him to believe that Dan was not going to one of the two strong players at the end
